Thomas Pearson

A real estate commercial lawyer with 17 years’ experience, Thomas specialises in development in a number of sectors, such as residential (including affordable social housing), care and retail (C stores and PFS).

He joined JMW in 2013, and has been integral to the growth of its real estate commercial offering since then.
 
Thomas also has experience of what it’s like to be client-side on a transaction, having project-managed JMW’s office expansions in Manchester, Liverpool and London over the last four years. He was able to deliver over 30,000 sq ft of new office space for the firm, on time and on budget.
 
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Thomas was responsible for setting up the JMW Real Estate Zoom, a weekly roundtable session with clients, contacts and prospects. This provided all involved with a reliable barometer of the moving market, and the demand in various sectors - as well as a good environment to forge relationships and contacts.

Thomas views a transactional lawyer’s role as a facilitator to get the deal done, and is a firm believer in the power of making worthwhile connections and finding new ways to link people to create opportunities. With the Property Room platform, he is fully geared up to deliver on this vision.
